Huge hugs! Some babies just do this. You're not doing anything wrong. It's just his temperament.

Don't waste energy feeling guilty about thinking about going back to work. Being a SAHM has it's own unique challenges that you don't fully understand until you've been a SAHM. If you have changed your mind about going back to work, you wouldn't be the first person to do so. Do what you gotta do.

It's possible that James would do well in a DC setting. Lots of stuff to keep him entertained. It could change your relationship with him in a positive way.

Good luck with whatever you decide. I hope that you can get a much-needed, well-deserved break soon.
