Ok Ladies! My best friend is having a baby and her shower is coming up in a couple of weeks. I wanted to make a book full of helpful tid-bits and inspirational stuff to help her through the first few weeks as a new mom. So, I thought where better to get goodies to put in the book then from you wonderful, sage, inspirational women? She is breastfeeding and not cloth diapering and she has no real parenting philosophy. Hopefully y'all will be able to help me out!! TIA!!

Re: Making a Book
Here's what I know:
1. Breastmilk is like windex- it fixes/heals EVERYTHING
2. Lanolin saves lives (and nips)
3. Come up with a routine that works for you. Don't go too hard on yourself if you don't stick to a specific schedule- you'll be exhausted.
4. Don't be afraid to ask for help, and if it's offered or someone says they'll bring you food, now is not the time to politely decline. Take all the help/food you can get!
5. One word- nosefrida.
I can't wait to see what others post! I actually think this is awesome and would've loved to get something like this at my shower. :-)
Also find the contact information of your local LLL and include that.
I wish I would have known about all the great Lansinoh products before I gave birth and started BF; soothies gel pads, nipple shields and this 3-in-1 breast therapy thing. My newly engorged boobies were so thankful.
