Vent---- Autopsy not in yet

Originally I was told it was going to be 6 weeks for the results to come in, which would have been yesterday anyways, but the pathology department where Jack was born said they come back in 30 days. Ok... so its been 43 and its still not in. I started out being calm cool and collected when I placed my first call on the 30 day mark but I'm getting to that frustrated obsessive state where I'm calling a few times a day to see if its back yet. I'm pretty sure they're avoiding my calls now.... seriously, LOL.  But come on now, where is it already?!?

I'm so sorry you are getting the run around! Is there a chance you can call your OB and see if he or she will contact the pathologist in your behalf? Maybe she would have better luck?

I'm going to have my husband call them tomorrow to see if they answer the phone for him....otherwise that is a good idea I'll ask my OB to call them, thanks:)

We're going on 12 weeks with still no results.  The hospital won't even transfer my call to get anywhere. My OB has called to check in and they're just telling her that the results aren't ready yet. It's absolutely infuriating- hugs!!

@sunflwra  oh my goodness that is terrible, I'm so sorry its taking so long!!!!!  This is such an awful situation for us to be in, you'd think they'd show some compassion and get us some results!!!

@kflynn81 - I keep trying to tell myself that all of the work that that pathology department is doing is important to someone, but it's just crushing not to know. Thankfully, based on our early genetic testing and other testing since, we're not letting it keep us from moving forward but it would be a huge step towards some sort of closure. Just a really sucky situation to be in. I hope you all havae some answers soon
