I do have one preference surrounding the topic: If a child that turns out to be LGBTQ is fated to be born I'd really prefer the universe allow them to be born to me and not in a relationship, community, support system that would oust them, cast them aside or tell them they are broken. But, unfortunately, I can no sooner pick whether I'm having a boy or girl.
As for my child, I just hope that we can relate to one another.

Oh, SO this!!! Yep. Would love to have a LGBTQ child if it meant they wouldn't be born to someone intolerant.
