Andplusalso- I can say my reaction has nothing to do with my pregnancy.  I have hated the use of that word since I was 19 and have called people out on it since then.  Stop trying to look for an excuse to justify your behavior.

@JaneC - her very first statement/original apology was not the issue for me at all. I would have accepted it no doubt. It was the attempt to justify (the post that was deleted) that didn't settle well with me.

Yes, I didn't see that post, so I don't know what it said.  I'm not saying you were wrong being offended by her justification.   I just didn't read her justification because it was deleted before I looked at the post again.  I am sure you were right to be annoyed by a justification of using that word- really there isn't a good justification for it.

Her justification was that there are 2 definitions for the word. What she failed to realize is that the second definition makes absolutely zero sense in her original offending statement.
