rules at home vs school

So right around two dd went through a phase where she loved playing in the dogs water dish. after loads of redirection she moved past it. fast forward a year and she's in preschool. They do water play in school a few times a week during sensory play and now she's back playing in the dish. i think its confusing and frustrating because the rules at school and home aren't the same. Any advice on how to teach that to a child whose language skills are about two or am i kidding myself?

I have no advice. DS eats paper and playdoh. I do wish he would stop.

You could always make an International "No" Sign to hang above the bowl- clear expectations. You will probably have to remind her, but she's bright- she'll eventually catch on.
