So I am almost 5 weeks and I decided to take a test. I drank a lot I believe but the test wasn't dark in fact it looked like my line at 10dpo. I did take an equaline cheapie..

I would think even on lots of water it would be a strong line? What do ya think?

I'm about to go by a first response

  • I would definitely get a FRER as they are the best and easiest to see progression with early on.

  • I would definitely try a FRER, esp if that is what you used the first time. Also, if you are drinking a bunch then your urine is probably very diluted so I could understand getting a lighter line. Try holding for several hours and/or wait for FMU.
  • Ok I will do that
  • I heard the best time to take a test is right when you get up in the morning. I agree that drinking a bunch before will just delute things. Best of luck!

  • I would still do it with FMU even though you have already gotten your BFP. I was taking them at night and they werent getting darker, took a internet cheapie with FMU and it was as dark as the control line. By doing it in the morning it wont be as diluted as you drinking during the day.

  • Ok I'll buy a frer and PoaS in the morning
  • Haha I know. I ready went to the doctor where I PoaS and they said yep your pregnant, did the pap and left.

You would think on my 3rd pregnancy I would learn. I'm more scared of MC this time because I have not had any (other than chemical) and 2 successful pregnancies.

I know what you mean. After 2 successful pregnancies you'd think I would relax but I swear I'm more paranoid this time. I still POAS occasionally too. I hope I'll calm down after my u/s on the 14th.
  • Nice!  :)

  • Don't be freaked out if you continue to have urges to POAS and it becomes lighter over time and even negative late in your pregnancy. Not necessarily cause for concern.

I'm not admiring how I know!
