Ok so I know that there's ALOT of people who HATES the name Addison for a girl and I totally understand that due to the meaning of the name (that's partially why I'm considering spelling it Addisyn instead of Addison because I don't like the Addi"SON" part). But it's just one of those names that I'm falling more and more in love with. So that being said I'm considering the name for a girl if that's what we're having BUT since the name is kind of masculine I want a MN that is VERY feminine. I know like I said that this name is not liked alot for a female name but please just vote on what you think sounds best or if you don't like any of them please, I'd love to hear other opinions. Thank you so much guys!! ♡♡♡

** our last name is one syllable and we have a 2 year old DD named Brinley.

I think all work, but I voted Victoria, and then my second choice would be Rose, third Sophia, fourth Grace.

Having said that, I'd still spell it Addison over Addisyn.

Out of curiosity, have you ever considered Adelaide?

  • I think they are all pretty MN. Addison is NMS but it goes well with your older child and it is becoming very popular for girls, so I definitely wouldn't see it as a boys name.

  • Addison Victoria is very pretty!

    I wouldn't spell it with a "y."

  • I'm so glad I mentioned spelling it with a "y"... I like Addison better but was thinking maybe Addisyn looked more feminine. Glad you all are putting your input in on that!! :)
  • I like it paired w Sophia.

    Also suggesting Addison Olivia.

  • I think Addison Victoria looks least like a screaming 2010s cliche, and I like Victoria quite a bit anyway.

Spell it Addison.  Changing the spelling creates more problems than it solves, and it always baffles me when people pick a boy name for their girl because they don't want something too girly, but then the name is too masculine so they try to femme it up by sticking a random Y in it to make it look less like a boy name.

  • I don't hate Addison on a girl I just prefer it on a boy. Please leave it Addison!

    I voted Addison Rose.

  • I don't hate Addison I'm just over it (personally know 3 under 3) but please no Y. I don't think anyone will confuse her for a boy but if her name is misspelled she will have to constantly correct people. That being said I know an Addison Grace so I voted for that. I also think Sophia is pretty too
