***2nd Tri Bleeding Check-In ***

This check in is for the girls who have experienced or are experiencing bleeding in their 2nd Tri. It's a way for us to keep track of you all and send prayers and good thoughts your way.

Please give us an update to how you are doing, any upcoming doctor appointments, anything you're looking forward to, etc.

Nothing exciting this week...thank goodness. Over did it this weekend (primarily in my post Super Bowl celebrating) and I've been having Braxton Hicks. My next appointment is the 18th. Hopefully they will examine my cervix and everything is the same or better. 

You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Yeah, I completely stopped walking aside from going to the store.. (No river or dog walking). Both my bleedings were on Wed so we will see if it happens again this wed... Only thing is now my digestion has gone to crap because no excersise and I am so constipated my whole stomach is stretched out to its max and is super painful. Oh well.. Better than bleeding I suppose.. I just feel like baby has no room to move cuz of how distended stuffed my stomach is.. Yuck! Haha

I've still been spotting here and there. I mentioned it to my OB when I brought my son in (she's family practice/ob) and she has me on pelvic rest until my next appointment on Feb. 18th. We'll also go over my anatomy scan results to see if anything turned up there.

Poor DH!

I think I should probably come off of the group.  I found out at my a/s that my placenta has moved.  I don't have placenta previa anymore, so I shouldn't have any more bleeding (FX!).  I'll still follow along with everyone here, and I'll rejoin if the bleeding comes back!

At our 20 week scan yesterday, the clot looked a bit smaller. It definitely seems like it's getting absorbed, which is great news! The dr says it's still "sizeable" and to not get too excited yet, but I'll take every little victory. I am still spotting every day but haven't had heavy bleeding in a few weeks. Yey!

@CDK211 Sharp pains are no good! Page your doc or head to ED if these don't immediately go away. I'm kind of freaking out for you as well...

So far I have had no more bleeding so that is good. I think I will feel completely out of the woods once I have my level 2 ultrasound on Fab 17th. They are going to be looking more in depth a baby boy (who has a cyst on his brain which could be a marker for other things) and also checking out my placenta. My OB was optimistic that my placenta would move (it was "a little low" as she said when I had bleeding) so that makes me feel better.
