Took a test this morning and thought I was seeing things the line was so light. Went back to bed and when I woke up looked again and the line is darker. Positive or my mind playing tricks on me and an evaporation line? I took one yesterday it was negative and stayed that way. Took one tonight and the same thing, very faint line that DH couldn't see and he sees it now!

    I see it! 

    But, I would be careful with looking at tests past the viewing time (I think like 15 minutes or something?) Definitely take another tomorrow morning with FMU, and I'd encourage a FRER. My understanding is that blue dye tests are more prone to evaporation lines.

    I hope you keep seeing more and more positives!!

    I second the pp. I see it, but from what I have heard the blue tests are more prone to evaps. Try again tomorrow with fmu and then get a FRER or a digi. GL!

    I have had an evaporation line experience, but I don't think it ever got that dark. Yours looks like a bfp to me! I hope it is! I hope tomorrow it's a bit darker. Can you request a beta?

    Me: 42. DH: 46.

    1st Pregnancy: MC, 11/19/00.

    2nd Pregnancy: DS born 04/10/06.

    3rd Pregnancy: CP, 03/11.

    4th Pregnancy: MMC, D&C 11/30/11, Genetic testing revealed Trisomy 4.

    5th Pregnancy: Ectopic, 2 doses of Methotrexate unsuccessful, surgery 4/10/12, right tube removed.

    Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN.  After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.

    August 16, 2013:  BFP our first month of "not trying!"  Still in shock.  Beta #1 (14dpo): 183.  Beta #2 (17dpo):  611.  Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm! 
    Ultrasound 9/13/13:  8 weeks, heart rate of 176!
    Baby is due 4/26/14

    I will try again tomorrow and may request a beta depending on results I am still only 9dpo and they told me to test on Friday but I couldn't wait....:)

    I def see the line.  I suggest getting FRER, they're the best!  I got a positive with FMU 4dp6dt.

    If you're only 9dpo I'd say there's a good possibility that they are real lines. The only time I've ever gotten "evap lines" are when I've been pregnant. It happened to me this last time. Every other month it was always just stark white negatives even after the time limit. GL!!
