Pumping & Your Period

For those of you who pump (whether at work, occasionally or EP)... If you've gotten your period, how long does the drop in supply last?

I'm pretty sure mine has officially started and my pump last night was terrible and this morning is no different.

Does the drop last all week? And does this happen each month?

Mine usually lasts almost the entire week...it's terrible...and insanely stressful. During that week I felt like I was permanently attached to the pump just to get enough for her bottles.

Uhhh so sorry no experience. I still have no AF. All I can think its lots for water, perhaps pills and oatmeal. You may already be doing all of that. I hope it gets better soon!

I have a bad drop the first 2-3 days then days 4 & 5 are a little better but not quite normal.
I've had 2 cycles & the drop was the same each time...hopefully that isn't the case forever.
It sucks.

I haven't had mine but I heard that it can do that monthly. You can take calcium and magnesium to help.

I've had 1 PP period, ended today. The first 3 heavy flow days were the worst, then it got better as the period lessened. I started taking Feungreek 3 pills 3x/day with mothers milk tea and it seemed to help

My first two cycles it dropped drastically the whole time. I'm currently on my third pp cycle and no drop this time. So hopefully it won't be effected anymore. The first two cycles I took fenugreek but it didnt really kick on until after I was done. I was going to start taking it a week before my next period but I'm not regular and was surprised early with this AF so I took a few te night I started but stopped since I haven't seen a drop and don't want an OS issue.
