First Haircut

I mean hatchet job. I did it myself because she just had some fringe in her eyes. A couple snips later and...oops. Nothing a little a gel and slicking can't disguise. Sorry B. If only you liked barrettes or headbands we could have avoided this awkwardness.

Have you done this to your child or do you only trust LO's locks to a qualified professional? Or are you still waiting for hair?

DD has only had 1 hair cut to help even out the back, the outside edges were longer than the middle. I took her with me to my stylist. No real plans for another hair cut anytime soon.

DS is rocking the most serious mullet EVER.  I think I will take him to get a haircut at a kiddo salon and then try to figure out how to do it on my own after that point.

Oh no, it will grow back though. No hair cut yet. DD1 only got her first real haircut when she was 5. Her hair grew so slowly she just never needed/wanted one until then.

Albert has hair, but he'll probably be three before we cut it at the rate it is growing now.

DH wants to trim DD's bangs but I won't let him. She won't wear barrettes either so we will just have to deal with pushing it out of her eyes until it's long enough to do something with it.

We just cut our DS's hair for the first time this weekend. We did it ourselves and it isn't too bad. The back could use a little work with fading and blending it in but it is good for now. I have never cut hair before so considering it was my first time it looks good.

DS has had his hair cut twice professionally.  And I have trimmed it a couple times myself.  I need to do it again...its starting to look like a mullet!

We haven't cut DD hair yet.  Her bangs are getting pretty long but thankfully she'll leave a barrette in for the most part.  The back is pretty much all the smae length, and still pretty short.  We'll probably have to cut it soon.  But I really don't want to commit to bangs.

I cut Lucas' hair once already about 2 1/2 months ago, and I will have to cut his hair sometime in the near future. Before I cut his hair, I looked up hair cuts for little boys, and how to do it.  I followed the directions, and it came out pretty good!  I even got a couple complements from a couple of former hairdressers, as well as his teachers at daycare, so I must've done at least a decent job! If anyone would like the links let me know and I will post them!

We have gotten Jeffrey's hair cut professionally 4 times already! It grows so fast! The first 3 times it was just a clean up but this last time it was cut much shorter (DH took him) and I can't wait for it to grow out a little!
