BFing and Temping/FF Question

I hope this isn't a stupid question. I have been BFing my son for a year and recently decided to temp to see if I am O'ing. Does it matter that my period hasn't returned? In other words, will Fertility Friend have difficulty identifying an O without a recent CD1?
