For the last couple of weeks or so, I've been pretty sure my LO is somewhere between transverse and breech (head in upper left - my upper left, that is - with spine curving along upper right and her kicks in my lower right). Then a few days ago I felt hiccups in my cervix and internally cheered a bit. Now she seems back to her old position again, though possibly curled somewhat in a ball because I feel both kicks and hiccups near my mid-lower right side. x.X Not positive however, because I can't really feel her very well due to having an anterior placenta. Going to ask my OB at my Thursday appointment what she thinks of inversions, because I was breech for my mom and her delivery doctor reached up inside her twice during delivery to turn me around the right way. *shudder* I don't want to experience that, lol.
ETA: Nope, guess I lied, she's definitely transverse right now. Kicking on mid-lower right, and just felt hiccups on mid left. *headdesk*

is anyone's baby FRANK breech? (butt first, not feet first). Ive been researching the hell out of it and it seems once the baby gets in this position, its really hard for them to get out of it. I posted before about absolutely NOT doing an aversion and had a deep discussion with my aunt (L&D nurse) and she agreed it probably isnt the best... and based on others recommendation of seeing a chiropractor, I have no hope that its going to help. Again, this is just based off what im reading.
Im also a little freaked about the babys legs when she comes out, it almost brings me to tears (google image it if you want to see what im talkin about). I have an appt this Thursday where we are going to make some definitive decisions and im just so broken hearted over this...
Mine still seems to favor transverse. When I'm lying down I feel like she is tap dancing on the side of my stomach touching the bed and pushing on the other side. I also often feel some pressure under my ribs, and am wondering if that might be a head or a bottom.
Should find out Wednesday at my appointment. I am trying to be good about doing pelvic tilts (cat/cow) and child's pose to at least give baby space to move around.

@mummyofsix THANK YOU! I needed to read that. I was home alone Saturday night googling and I really shouldnt have been, i'll be the first to admit to that!
I asked my doctor today about the baby's position, if she knew what position baby is in, when she should be head down ect. She told me that they will do a ultrasound at 36 weeks to see baby's position and she couldn't tell me what position baby is currently in. I have Kaiser healthcare, so I wasn't surprised at the lack of interest or care about the matter. I feel like it will be very difficult to turn baby at 36 weeks if she happens to be breach. Also, my husband was born 6 weeks early, so worries about an early baby are always in the back of my mind.

Don't worry too much about the legs. My daughter was butt first with legs by her face in my ribs and she is fine and wasn't born like those crazy images online. I did try the inversions and the procedure in te doctor's office with no luck. I'm glad we tried everything to turn her though. If you want to read my whole birth story -- it's in my blog. I think I posted it in July 2010: https://www.notesandpixels.blogspot.com
And I can't tell which way because I'm feeling kicks and punches at both ends. I feel them up high in my ribs and down low in my pelvis. So I'm not sure which thumps are his hands and which are his feet.
I am assuming I will find out baby's position today at my ultrasound. I have had a feeling though that he is transverse. I am a FTM so this is all new to me but I keep feeling a large lump on the right side and a large lump on the left side of my stomach as well. Thinking what I feel is his head and his butt. I won't get ahead of myself of course and we will see what I find out today. I just wouldn't be surprised at all to hear her say he is transverse.
@redbird11 that's how my transverse baby felt for a long time too. now, i have a head in my crotch, a butt in my left ribcage, and feet kicking ALL DAY LONG all over the right side of my belly. she's in an upside down L shape (a pike position?) in my belly so i actually still do get that bulge on the left and the right... it's just butt and feet instead of head and butt like it was before!
i will say... i really did see a noticeable shift in her movement when i really started doing purposeful, regular, long inversions for several days in a row. it was basically over the course of the past 2 weeks. i combined that with one adjustment using the Webster technique, and when i went back 2 days later, my chiropractor said my tendon wasn't even spasming at all, and he couldn't even locate it enough to do that same technique again. clearly those few days of diligent spinning babies work made a big difference for us.
Well either I was wrong or he has moved since I last felt the lumps on the right and left side of my stomach on Monday. The doctor said he is head down at the moment! So good news but I know he could always move again. Looking good at the moment though.
A few days ago I started feeling hiccups on my cervix and kicks were consistently higher up, confirmed today that he's head down! I have high fluid levels so he has plenty of space to flip again, hoping he doesn't! I did try to do some gentle cat/cow and hip stretches and tried a brief inversion once, but it didn't agree with my irritable uterus. I think he just finally figured it out on his own! Hoping the same for all of you! Tell those babies that entering the world bottom first is just not dignified

@sugarrush - my baby is frank breech too. I'm nervous that he won't turn because although I'm only 32w6d his head and legs were both measuring 3-4 weeks ahead at my ultrasound on Friday, so I'm scared he's going to run out of room to flip in there.
