Munchkin/Homedics projector

Does anyone else have either of these and have trouble with the projector? I bought the Homedics one and the projector stopped rotating. It's under warranty but I have to send it back to get it fix/replaced. So I bought a munchkin machine to use while the Homedics one was getting fixed and the same thing happened. Did this happen to anyone else? I'm wondering if it's even worth getting fixed. I'm thinking it will just keep happening.

    Wow sorry, I was saying that happened to our munchkin one as well. They were willing to replace it but I figured it would just happen again so we haven't replaced it yet.

    We have the Munchkin one.  It also stopped turning, so they sent me a new one, and that one stopped, too.  We still use it though, and weirdly enough, after not being used for a month or so (we keep one in DS's room and use the other for travel), they start working again.  The white noise just stopped working on one, so we're taking it out of rotation for a while to see if it'll start working again, too.

    We have the munchkin one too. It didn't stop turning, but it did start making an obnoxious clicking sound.

    The amazon reviews for munchkin mentioned this problem. I've been using it daily for over two months with no problem yet.

    Both of my boys have a Homedics one in their room. We use the projector as DS2's nightlight and haven't had any issues in the month we've been using it. DS1 only uses his for sound, but I did turn the projector on recently and it's making that clicking sound. However, his is also 3 years old so I feel I've definitely gotten my money's worth out of it and since he doesn't use the projector anyways I'm not too worried about it.

    I haven't seen the projector on those, but if you're looking for an alternative , I love our cloud b twilight ladybug.

    Our Homedics one stopped turning after the motor sounded like it was going out for about a week (after nightly (all night) use for 3 months). I really only use it as a nightlight to see LO in our room anyway, so I probably won't get it replaced. We hardly ever use the sound.

    Thanks everyone. It doesn't seem like it's worth the hassle to send them back if they are just going to break again.

    I'm going to check out the Cloud B Ladybug. Thanks for the suggestion!
