I have recently descovered that I can crochet my own Wool soakers
I a using the Lions brand Fisherman's Wool (100% wool)
all of the patters call for a single worsted weight which lions brand wool is,
but I have seen many completed soakers which use two strands at the same time.
would a single strand of yarn (crocheted tight with a smaller hook than called for in single crochet)
be thick enough for a night time diaper soaker? or should I really be doubling the pattern?
Re: for those who crochet soakers
I knit and am still awaiting my little guy, so that is all the help I can give.
This is a brilliant idea, by the way. Why did I not know about this?! I can crochet/knit some cotton soakers!
I would do the double strand, then. You don't want them to leak!
