Cloth Diapering

NCDR I'm an idiot

Now I'm procrastinating too. I thought it would be a great idea to do my laundry throughout the week, and fold it all on Fridays (my day off). Who the hell wants to fold 3 big pop up hampers full of laundry the only day you have off?!? What was I thinking? I have errands that I can only do on Fridays, because, the boys need to nap before I go to work. Today has been an exceptional disaster too. Now I have a bed covered in piles of folded clothes I don't want to put away. Ugh!!!

  • I hate folding. I don't fold anything anymore. It's hang up or pile.

  • We hang up a lot of our clothes. However, my work attire is mostly workout gear. I don't have nearly enough closet space to hang it all up. DH's temp job is on an assembly line, so he wears jeans and old t-shirts. His closet space is packed with the now seldom worn office casual attire. And, lord help me if I piled L's clothes. She wouldn't be able to find anything, and it would turn into an argument every morning.

  • DH doesn't put clothes away. Our laundry room is on the main floor with a bunch of shelving. I made it his closet. From the dryer his stuff goes in the pile on a shelf.

  • I fold outfits together for my daughter. Each pile in her drawer is a complete outfit minus the socks.

That way she grabs a pile she wants and she is all set.
