purple lips/ shivering?

My 25 mo. old son has had 2 episodes of purple lips and shivering (like he's cold) a week apart the most recent episode was this morning at daycare when I dropped him off. It lasts about 10-20 min. and seems to be after a nap or in the morning.Hes eating fine so low glucose isn't it. The dr. Is seeing him Wednesday. Just looking for something to make me feel better. DH is out of town for work
