Ladies who have had a pp period come in (tmi?)

I'm 17 weeks pp today
I had off and on pp bleeding until about week 6 after my csec
Then nothing

4 days ago I spotted lightly
Then nothing
Then more spotting yesterday and today basically nothing
All dark brownish old blood like
No cramps like I used to get pre pregnancy

I thought it was my period but DH swears it's implantation bleeding (I had same last time)

Was your first pp period "normal" or different (lighter or heavier) than your pre preg periods?!?!

My PP bleeding stopped at 4 weeks and my first period came at 6 weeks PP.

They have been significantly heavier with more painful cramping sine LO was born.  This is my second child so I'm guessing they will regulate themselves eventually like they did the first time, but that was 11 years ago so I really don't remember how long it took.

This happened to me. The first "period" was just a few days of spotting with no cramps. I was at my brother's house when it started and asked my SIL for a tampon. She handed me about 20 and warned me that it was going to be terrible. It wasn't, but a few weeks ago I got my second period and it was bad. Heavier than it has ever been and cramps that doubled me over.

My first PP period was at 8w on the dot and it was definitely heavier. It lasted 5 days and ended. A month later I started again for 5 days and it ended. Ten days later I started again and 5 days later it ended. I seriously hope my body gets it's shit together or it will be missing some parts.

My AF has been the the same post as it was pre except I seemed to skip a cycle. So I've only had 2 periods when I should of had 3.

I got my first PP period at 11 weeks and it was unmistakable. It was super heavy and bright red. Surprisingly, I didn't get bad cramping. It lasted about a week. It seems like every woman is different and you have to just know your body, even though that can be difficult after a pregnancy.

I got mine at about 10 wks PP. It lasted forever!! Like almost 3 wks!! It was super heavy at first then got lighter as the days went on. Cramps weren't too awful tho.

I'd say it was pretty normal with the exception of no cramping...normally I have some cramping and a full feeling, but not PP.

I stopped bleeding pp at 3 weeks. My first AF came at 13 weeks. It started with some low back pain then light spotting by the next day the pain in my back and crams were as bad as pp cramping, but still very light flow. By the third day I thought I was going to die. I have always had very painful and heavy periods but this was a whole other level. I spent 3 days in bed with LO. I bled more than I did my first week pp. Then on the 7th day it just stopped like someone turned off a switch.

Mine was totally normal. I got it exactly one year after "the first day of my last period" from when I got KU, ironically. It lasted 4 days. Nothing crazy.

I recently got my third pp period and it sucks. The last 2 seem to be way lighter than they were before but the first was super heavy. I have always had really bad cramps but they seem a little worse now than they have been the past few years.

I had some spotting like 2 weeks after I started the mini pill that lasted a week but nothing since then. Every once in awhile I debate taking a preg test just to make myself feel better even though I know no period by now is pretty normal.

I have had little bits of spotting off and on. I agree with rsigler, your first PP period will knock you on your ass and make you want to have a penis. It's awful. If you really think it's implantation bleeding, wait two weeks and test.

There was no mistaking my period when it finally decided to show up. Super, super heavy! Haven't had period #2 yet, but that should be this week.

I've had two so far, exactly 28 days apart like always.  They seemed to be slightly heavier than usual but pretty close to normal.

1st PPP (ha!) was definitely just what I would consider spotting, and it kind of started, stopped, and then started again.  I was worried about pregnancy too (for the same reasons, my implantation bleeding was like that), so I took a test just to be sure.  Now I am on my 2nd one, which started LATE just to scare me (had to test again just to be sure!) and started out heavy and now quickly faded to spotting again.  From what I hear anecdotally, PPPs can be pretty effed up.  So far that has been true for me.  Also, it causes my supply (BF) to tank, which sucks big time.

I've had some super light spotting twice now, about a month apart. My supply tanked the first time (end of December) but not the second (last week). I guess they were periods? Lord only knows what this uterus is up to. I'm still on the "have as little sex as possible" birth control plan, so I'm not too worried about it.

I am not sure since I was bleeding until about five weeks then started again. I got mirena and I was bleeding from THAT. Now, I am lightly spotting so I have no clue. Different for everyone right?

Haven't had anything since 2 weeks after his birth. Reading these posts, I am terrified for it to get here...I already have horrible periods that are long...and the last thing my supply needs is tanked.
