Had my first ultrasound this morning. The baby was measuring right at 8 weeks but did not have a heartbeat. I'm heartbroken and I feel my body betrayed me a thousand times. I've been physically sick everyday since week 6. My bloodwork came back all normal levels. Now I have to make a decision on whether to miscarry naturally or schedule a d&c.
I really do wish a happy and healthy pregnancy for each one of you ladies. I hope for all of you to have a healthy and squishy baby to hold in September! Now I will go home and hold DS this much tighter tonight.

I'm so sorry to hear Starbear. When you say bloodwork came back all normal levels do you mean with or without baby? I am not a doctor and certainly not trying to give anyone false hope or make this experience hurt any worse for you, but if it were me with the baby measuring on track I think I'd make the decision to miscarry naturally.
Just remember that although you loved this baby so much and wanted to have it in your life, you miscarried because it wouldn't have been healthy or had a good quality of life. But that baby loves you back and is grateful that you were able to let them go.
