Im almost 30 weeks and ive had BH off and on all thru my pregnancy and i drink loadsss of water every day, but the past 2 days when i get BH i'll get 3 or 4 tht are 2 minutes apart?? they arent painful just uncomfortable. Any one esle?
That sounds pretty normal. You aren't doing anything wrong to get Braxton Hicks, nor are they dangerous. They just happen as your body's way to prep for labor. Having several in a row is not unusual, but they should stop if you move around/change position or rehydrate. IMO you can absolutely tell the difference between BH and real contractions (when they start) because real contractions just don't let up. They get closer together and more intense until you have to stop talking and start swaying when they occur. If you're concerned, you can discuss the BH with your doctor.
Based on my own experience, yep - it can be completely normal as long as they stop eventually. If they fall into a pattern like that and won't stop after an hour, then there could be an issue.
I am 30w4d and get them all the time. Like you said- they aren't painful, just frustrating. It is kinda cool seeing my belly tense up though- feels as if I have rock hard abs
If you get 4-5 with in a hour your supposed to call ob
1st loss 8/31 2nd pregnancy -TWINS lost DD1 twin at 8 weeks 6 days DD1 born 6 weeks early
3rd pregnancy- TWINS AGAIN lost both babies at 9 week appt
4th pregnancy- singleton- born at 38 weeks 1 day with the help of weekly 17P injections 5th pregnancy- CP in June 6th pregnancy It's a BOY
i get them several times throughout the day, sometimes a lot. i actually had one while my ob was trying to measure my tummy during my last visit and she had to wait for it to go away. she's not worried and neither am i. she said it's the body's way of prepping for labor.

I think some people are just more prone to getting them than others.
