Carseat ?

Just curious, if you have 2 vehicles, how many carseats do you have? Right now we just have 1 in my van. DH doesn't take DS anywhere by himself when I have the van because it's too much of a pain to move the carseat. Do most people move the carseat or do they have 1 in each vehicle?

We have 4 convertibles for 2 kids. It's kind of excessive since DH rarely takes DD anywhere and never takes both kids anywhere alone. He likes to take his car on the weekends as a family so he wanted his own car seats.

We have one carseat for each child. They stay in one car and whoever has the kids uses that car. On the rare occasion we need to be in separate places with one kid, we move a seat to the other car.

I just bought a second convertible car seat, since Babies'R'Us has that big trade-in event going on right now! 

We have Alex in a convertible in the minivan right now and will install the infant seat in it, too, for baby #2. The new convertible will go into DH's car, in case he needs to go somewhere with Alex while I am taking the baby to the Doctor or something like that. In a pinch the baby could go into the convertible car seat, too, so we should now be covered for all eventualities. :-)

Currently we have 2 cars and 3 car seats (2 convertibles and 1 infant seat with 2 bases) for 2 kids. We'll get 2 convertibles when the time comes. We both drive with them so it's necessary.

We only have one for DS (and will only have one for new LO). We only take DS anywhere in our better car. (The other is DH's for driving to work, etc.)

We have one convertible car seat that stays in my car, and 2 bases for the infant carrier. We just take my car if we're going somewhere as a family. If DH does need to take the kids in his car for some reason he just moves the seat. It installs pretty easily.

We have a convertible in each car (DH does daycare drop off, I do pickup) and one infant seat base. It's pretty easy to install our infant seat without the base, so we will move that as needed.

so we have 2 convertibles and one infant seat with two bases for our one spoiled munchkin. we only have one car, the other seat is in my in mom's car. we arent using the infant seat currently, but saving if it incase we ever get another miracle.

we have one for each car even though MH very rarely drives her without me/my car.  (but when we bought the seats, we were still splitting daycare transportation, that's why we have 2)
