My FFFC is that I am logging off the bump for a while. Call me butthurt but the comments made by @Lindsey61811 on UO about me where incredibly hurtful. I know we don't all agree here and not everyone likes everyone else but I would never deliberately hurt anyone here. I felt that comment was a direct personal attack to hurt me. And it did. Good look to all of you ladies and your LO's.

Seriously? She pointed out that you spelled a word wrong, and you're running away because of that. How do you function as an adult in society if you get upset so easily?

It wasn't the spelling correction, although the fact that she read through 7 pages just to pick out a spelling mistake I made is pretty mean, it was the singling me out as stupid. It was a direct attack. I've had years of bullying and I guess this just cuts a little deep.

@orlaithsheanon16 if it will make you feel better, do what you gotta do. I'm sorry you feel hurt by one internet strangers comment, but it's not worth stressing out over. She'll always have an opinion and so will you. We're all here for the same reason...  to talk about our amazing little ones. It should almost be a given if we subject ourselves to anything more than we'll get flamed by someone. So posting on UO is almost a death wish if you aren't going to be able to ignore someone's hurtful comment.

Well anywhoo my Fffc: I always lie to my hairdresser about what shampoo I'm using. I dunno why. I'm cheap and use herbal essence but I always lie and say I use redkin. I feel like she will judge me.

You're right that was wrong. I'm sorry @CourtJack if you or your DH was offended. I should have said that I don't agree with people that smoke pot. There is a slight difference though. A. I didn't single out courtjacks dh and B. I wasn't doing something illegal by posting on that thread.

@orlaithsheanon16 I don't think being called stupid by one person is a good enough reason to take a bumpcation. People have said way worse things with way less reaction. That being said, take some time if you need it, we're always here.

My FFFC: I went to the chiropractor this week for an adjustment. The receptionist told me that motherhood must be agreeing with me, with my hair all styled and my clothes all fancy. I didn't have the heart to tell her I had just gotten out of my pyjamas 10 minutes earlier, put a brush through my hair and forgot to brush my teeth. Oh yea, my appointment was at 3 in the afternoon. Maybe she was being sarcastic...

Anyways, my confession is that I want to find out what the absolute longest time is that you can wait to start solid foods. I know they recommend waiting till 6 months, but if it's okay to wait longer, I think I will

The idea of her EBF poop changing makes me gag.

My FFFC:  DH and I aren't going to a birthday dinner next week because we really don't want to leave DS for a few hours to go.  Nobody is bringing their children, and since the weekends are the only time we have to spend as a family, I don't want to miss any of it with him.  Oh well.  Sorry not sorry.

I miss the ebf poo so bad.  The day we started solids LO gave me one last sweet blowout to remember.

I think you need some thicker skin. You know how many times I have been called out on stupid ass spelling or grammatical errors? I have college professors with PHD's that have flat out said, I'm not an English major and I make errors. Errors happen, no one is perfect and when you ruffle feathers (I didn't read the thread) there is going to be shit flying that might otherwise have flown by. I don't think it was a personal attack, more on the side of a little snarky. And from what I am reading it was pretty mild. Take the licks and brush it off.

My confession is that I have total road rage. If you drive too slowly or annoy me, I will not hesitate to honk at you. I try really hard not to say anything damning while my toddler is in the car but sometimes it just slips out.
