2WW and spotting - is this normal? Anyone have this and still get a BFP?

I am 8dpiui and I've started spotting.  Its a bit heavier but does not feel like AF.  I am also about a week out from AF arrival.  Is this normal?  I had an ultrasound yesterday and the doctor said I had a lot of cysts ( I have PCOS), is it possible a cyst popped?

I had one day of small amounts of spotting and then got a BFP. everyone is different though. Maybe you can POAS in a few days? Good luck!

It never turned out well for me whenever I spotted in the tww. With my first IUI, I was convinced the spotting was implantation bleeding because it was so light but it got heavier and eventually turned into AF. But, everyone is different and I know some women actually spot before their BFP, so hopefully that is the case with you! Good luck!

I just started progesterone last night.  I am taking them orally but my progesterone levels are low so the doctor put me on them.

I spotted at 8dpo and 9dpo with this pregnancy, and then it stopped. I normally started spotting at 10dpo each month when ttc, then I would just spot each day until it turned into AF. So I was surprised I had started spotting two days earlier than normal. When it stopped and didn't come back for a few days.... Turned out I was pregnant! I ended up spotting quite a bit on and off for several weeks, but LO is healthy and normal at almost 28 weeks now. Good luck!

I didn't have any spotting, but I know it's very common.  How many dpt are you?  I'd say start POAS if you're more than 5dpt!

I had spotting early on around the time of beta 1 and it continued for 10+ days. Then it was off and on up until 10 weeks. My betas were right on track and now I'm 36weeks.they never did find the cause to the bleeding. It was mostly brown but was red a couple times. It was heavy enough to wear thin pad at times but had started off when I wiped. Good luck and hope that you get great news as well!

I had spotting right before and just after our BFP. I also had spotting during the tww on cycles that were unsuccessful, so I don't think it can tell you much either way. Wait a few days and test, or wait for your beta if that suits you better GL!

I'm an advocate to POAS, and I highly encourage everyone to do it, do it early and do it often!  But that's only because I had a positive (no pun intended) experience.  PEE AWAY GIRL!!!!

That's when I'd start spotting...right at 8 or 9dpiui...and it was every single time. Your progesterone levels will do that...the supplements can also irritate your cervix and make it bleed.
