Daily Food/Exercise Checkin 1/30

Yesterday was not the greatest.

Yesterday:
B: avocado on toast
L: a whole foods maple pecan and dried cranberry salad
D: a small steak and red beans and rice.
S: banana, a small bag of chips, a candy bar, and about 6 oreos. Snacking was my downfall. 
E: none. Wasn't feeling it.

    @irishtheatrechic From what I've been told, not eating enough food can hinder weight loss because of how it affects your metabolism. You should eat healthy foods and exercise, but not go overboard. I've kept track of calories on myfitnesspal.com before, and they do warn you when you aren't getting enough calories.

    I've also been told that at least once a week you should have a high fat meal, so that you don't plateau. It is kind of a spike to the system. Don't go overboard, but a few pieces of pizza or some Mexican food could actually help you lose weight. For my wedding I was probably the skinniest I've been since high school, and while I was vigilant on my diet during the week, every Sunday the hubs and I would get Mexican. I would always get 3 cheese enchiladas and ate a ton of chips. I also thought it helped mentally because it satisfied my cravings for something unhealthy and made eating healthy the rest of the week easier. This type of eating would have been sustainable had it not been for all the decadent eating on my honeymoon. I got too used to not caring anymore.
