*Update on pg 4* Jenstwins Twins Have Arrived (long and PIP)

After being in the hospital on bed rest for 19 days my babies decided to make their appearance last night!
Tuesday at 11:00pm my waters broke (so did a few other ladies on the unit - changing barometric pressure? super moon?) and I started having some irregular contractions through the night. Next morning the decided to start an oxytocin drip to try to coordinate my contractions because they were still all over the place. I agreed to have an epidural placed and loaded to make sure it was in the right spot, but then turned off - to have it in case of an emergency c-section.
Through the day nothing really changed, so at 2pm they checked me and realized that it must have been B's waters that broke, so they broke A's waters too.
A new OB came on shift and rechecked me at 6:30pm with still no change. She agreed to give me two more hours to start to make some progress, only because both heart rates were still good. A's head was still high and not really 'engaged' in my pelvis. They think the twins were fighting it out to see who'd exit first, so we're hanging each other up on my pelvis.
Within 5 minutes of her leaving the room I actually felt A drop. Suddenly the contractions went from pretty mild to really intense (the oxy was pretty high by this point). By 7:15 I was fully dilated and in the OR pushing!
Twin A is Rhys Werner, he arrived at 7:52pm and weighed 4lbs 7oz at 33 weeks.
Twin B is Audrey Anne, and she came at 9:08pm and weighed 5lbs 4oz! Both are bigger than DS was when he came home!
They are both in the NICU for now (daddy went with them, he was an awesome support!). Rhys is on a bit of CPAP to help his lungs, but Audrey is just doing her own thing on room air! I had a PPH, so haven't been allowed up yet, but should be going to meet my babies right away!!

It amazes me that you're not so many days ahead of me....that's what my LO looks like..... ::melts::

I LOVE the name Rhys. It was at the top of my list, but MH didn't love it.
