Update: Packed up a bag just in case and headed to the drs. We listened to baby and he sounds good

They said I had a definitely bladder infection and it didn't seem like it had gotten to my kidneys yet (that's how it happened last time). They put me on an antibiotic, but they let me know it's possible it'll be resistant (maybe because I've had it before?) and might not respond to the antibiotics and continue to get worse. So, for now, I'm still at home, just really sore and hoping this round of antibiotics does it.

Okay, when I was pregnant with my first, I got a pretty serious kidney infection that was in both kidneys. I was in a lot of pain and was in the hospital for a week.
I've noticed some my urine being a little darker than normal over the past couple days and a red flag went up, but I thought maybe I just wasn't drinking enough water... except I woke up this morning and I knew. I remember this pain from last time. It's just about definitely a kidney infection, in my right one.
I'm terrified. Last time, I was in the hospital for a week, they had me hooked to an IV, running tests, doing ultrasounds... Its pretty routine to hospitalize to treat women with them when pregnant, but I have DD to take care of and I hate being in the hospital.
We'll see how it goes. I need to call my doctor and I'm sure they'll see me today.
Ugh.
