A handy reference

This guide will tell you how much caffeine is in basically any drink in existence, and they also have one for food.

DH gives me death glares any time I reach for anything caffeinated, even though I only have a few sips of his soda from time to time or an iced coffee or frappuccino maybe once a week. I finally decided to look up how much caffeine is really in one of those so that I could prove to him that it's well under the "safe limit" of 200mg/day.  Turns out the vanilla frappuccino I had on my way home from work today only contained 50 mg. Soo.... suck it DH.

  • My mind is in the gutter. I took it as a different type of handy. But yeah, not that much caffeine in the things I like to drink. So I'll keep on drinking them. And you should too!

  • Thanks for sharing this!  My husband yells at me all the time when I want a pop, so I drink my pop at work.  It's good to know that I have yet to hit the 200mg of caffeine on any given day.

  • Nice, thanks! I never drank regular coke before I was pregnant. Just a diet coke girl, but I've been craving a "red coke" like crazy! And if it's a Coke Icee then I'm in heaven! And yes, it's 5 degrees today. I've been buying the midget cans of coke & this makes it easy bc it tells you how much is in each ounce. Thanks!
