I can't believe they are doing this. Our BFing rate is excellent, and that is thanks to your post. Plus, all the ladies who answered our questions.

They are so worried about staying on us staying on our board they should stay on theirs.

I know the sticky helped me.  I didn't want to go to the BFing board just to ask a bunch of newbie questions, and I knew I could both trust your advice and get a timely response.  You have no idea how much that thread has done for me, and I only had to ask a question ONCE.  I re-read it fairly regularly, and I always learn something new, or remember something important that, again, makes a difference.

I'm sorry they're being so mean to you.  We love you!

I do agree the whole situation is ridiculous, but was it not a F14 member who posted the warning on the other BMB? If you guys don't want her help fine, but tainting other boards just is sad.

I read as much as I could, and what I got out of it all was so much different than what F14 did. I mean she didn't know it was in the FAQ. It was stickied then unstickied. No one gave any links to these supposed threads were she was inappropriate or creepy.

I feel like the whole situation was taken out of context. We will never get down to the truth of what happened. AmyG has helped a lot of people and she doesn't deserve her name to be muddied up.

No one has to sticky her thread, but F14 can't tell her she can't post there. It's an open forum. If you guys want privacy then they can start a secret FB group where you guys can control who has access to the group.

It looks like it was a member of M14 that posted the warning in A14.  I'm not sure if any F14 members posted in the M14 "do you want a BFing sticky from AmyG?" thread, but M14 had certainly heard about (or seen) the controversy.  They could have just as easily seen it from lurking in F14.  Regardless, people are bad-mouthing someone who certainly doesn't deserve it, and it's not coming from just one board.

I don't understand why AmyG is being characterized as creepy.  It doesn't make sense to me.  This whole fiasco just makes me sad.

It's odd that M14 would post that....I'm glad it wasn't F14. I have no way to see because I'm mobile. The poster just seemed like she was speaking on behalf of F 14.

I can't bf this time around because of my LO's cleft palate, but I wish to God I had an individual like you to help and support me with bf'ing my first two. I got through it fine, but it was so tough for me in the beginning and there are so many "trained" professionals out there who don't know their heads from their asses. I think it's great what you're doing...keep up the good work! We need more like you!!!!

The @AmyG* thread has helped me a lot. But if other boards aren't interested it really is their loss, like @car_seat says. I'm glad Amy has been here for us. Does she contribute to the BF board like she does here?
