Boy names (Ignore if you're sick of these)

I posted this in the baby names forum, but I thought I'd also post here and get your input as well! We just found out this morning that we're having a boy. We are so thrilled since we already have 17 month old dd. I have plenty of girl name ideas left over from my daughter, but I'm having a hard time thinking of boy names so I thought I'd see if anyone has any suggestions. The middle name will most likely be Gregory after my husbands brother that passed away. My dd's name is Lily if that helps with ideas as well. I kind of like Sam (Samuel?), Max (Maxwell?) or Oliver so far.

My boy list is Cash, Gunnar, Easton, Gavin, and Deacon.

We don't know yet what we're having (founding out at 20 weeks, which is about 6 weeks away), but my husband is stuck on Logan. I love Elliot, Elijah, Colton, Archer, and Rooney. I can't get hubby to consider any of my names! But might be a mute point if we're having a girl.

Um, Thaddeus is on our short list of boys names...

Actually, my husband & I like Thaddeus - it's just the Explosion part that was supposed to be funny.  Would you call him Tad for short?

Oh - I like the Samson idea.  I actually love Sam (probably my favorite) but I'm having a hard time with it because I don't like Samuel.  That was really helpful - thanks!
