Ultrasound Question!

I know this is probably a question for my doctor but I am really curious and my 8 week appointment isn't for another week and half. My DF is stationed down in San Antonio, TX and will not be able to be home for the first appointment to hear the heartbeat Can you take a video or use facetime while getting an ultrasound or will that interfere with it at all?

My doctor wouldn't allow any cell phones beyond a certain point, but that may not be everyone. I agree with PP - just call the office and ask.

I've taken video of both ultrasounds so far on my iPhone.
