I was just looking around at the other boards and it may sound odd, but this is the only one I feel safe posting/commenting on.  Every single other one I read had so many women bashing each other and attacking others' opinions.  I realize that this is an online forum and people are free to share their personal opinion and beliefs, even if they disagree with another's... however, I don't feel that any woman should be attacking another for choices they make regarding their children, families, or how they choose to celebrate their pregnancy.  We should all be mature enough to accept the different practices and beliefs of one another.  It just boggles my mind and I feel that it's a shame.



I'm probably going to get flamed for this. haha.

I think we proved @moose0512 s point last week on UO Thursday haha. But yes, in general, I hope this board stays reasonably kind. Based on what we flamed for last week, I have faith in us.

fruitloop151 I know exactly what you mean, but then again I guess you have to consider that on a site with thousands of people, you'll probably encounter some who don't know how to politely deal with something they find to be "stupid". Also something else to consider.. you can't always read wit someone's inflection, when someone may be being sincere or a smart ass, someone may read or perceive it completely different. Just stay where you feel comfortable and hopefully you'll get the support you're seeking here on The Bump(along with most of us)!

My first BMB was pretty fantastic and I am hoping this will be as well. But, we will have snarky moments and there will be drama. But, I have a good feeling that the good parts of this BMB will outweigh the trifles.

I freaking love this BMB!! I feel so lucky to be due in Sep. Of course there's going to be snark, misunderstandings, and bitchiness (with or without hormonal influence), it is teh interwebz, but so far everyone I've personally seen has been very supportive and respectful, even during disagreements. Even if that were to stop tomorrow, this board would still have a better track record than most internet forums.
