I was diagnosed with a bladder infection on Saturday. I was prescribed an antibiotic that was six doses. I take my last one before bed tonight.

Anyway, I still have a slight fever (99.2), still burning sensation, and some burning in my back. DH says I should go back to the Dr. 1st thing in the morning, but I think I should give it another day to see if the last dose will kick it.

What do you ladies think? I've never had a UTI so I don't know what to expect.

Thanks, CnAmom! That is a definitely a convincing story for me to go tomorrow. I didn't even know losing a kidney over a UTI was possible! Thanks for the response!

I would go back to the doctor. The bacteria causing your UTI could be resistant to the antibiotic prescribed. Feel better!

Yep, go back. They'll probably give you a different antibiotic.

I did get Cipro this time. I am ready for it to be over, for sure. My first antibiotic was sulfamethoxazole (bactrim DS)...
