24 month old onsies

My DD is 10 months old but the 18 month old onsies are becoming small for her. She has a long torso. I have been buying Carter's brand clothes because I find them reasonably priced, but I am finding that they have very few long sleeve onsies in 24 Months. Why is this?

Any recommendation on where I can get long sleeve 24 M onsies?

Gap has onsies that are good for long and slender.

Probably because most 2 year olds don't wear onesies? DS is way too big for them. I couldn't even imagine putting him in a onesie!

You're totally right, by 2 years DD will be walking and can probably wear regular shirts. Right now she's still crawling and not walking (independently anyway) so a regular shirt bunches up and her stomach gets all exposed..I wish they made something in between 18 and 24 months for tall and skinny kids.

I have seen people post before about onesie extenders. Not sure where you can buy them, but they snap onto either side of existing onesies to let you wear them for longer. Might be something to look into as well.

I still use onesies on DS2 to layer under his clothes.  Especially under pajamas at night.  Have you checked Carters online?  I think you can buy onesie extenders from One Step Ahead.  After DS2 outgrows 24 month onesies then we just move to undershirts but I still like to layer him in the winter.

Did you try Carters online?

Yeap tried Carter online, we have all the long sleeves they carry in 24 M.

I actually found some on GAP online last night for 5 dollars so we'll see how those fit because she has never had gap onsies I am not sure about the fitting.

I use them for layering. All the long sleeved onesies I have found come from Babies R Us as they have a few different brands there.
