Bundle me

Hey ladies, does anyone have a bundle me? I really wanted to get one, but I heard the harness can't get tight enough around the baby because of the part that goes underneath. It did say it passed crash tests, but I was too nervous, so I bought a bundle me car seat cover. What are your thoughts/experience with this item?

    We chose a "shower cap" style infant seat cover.  I was concerned about having material between baby and the back of the car seat for the reasons you noted.  The shower cap style cover is plenty warm and easy to use.  Those infant seats are like little ovens anyway - DD gets sweaty in hers in just a light blanket underneath and a cotton hat.

    That being said, lots of people love the bundle me, and it does cover the back of the seat where the slats to adjust the shoulder straps might let in a bit of cooler air in frigid weather. But I was comfortable with the shower cap type cover.

    There is usually post about these somewhere on the Nurseries and Baby Gear board, and if no one here does I am sure the posts there cogently explain the concerns about the bundle me.

    I also have a shower cap style. It's super warm and I usually only put a blanket on DD with it bc she starts to sweat! I also have a microfiber suit for when it's -20 c outside!

    Thanks ladies :) I got the car seat cover in the mail today and i love it, seems super warm. I can't wait to test it out. :)
