Chart Stalks/Rants: Well, I finally had a small temp increase. If my temp stays at 97.7 or higher for two more days, FF will give me crosshairs for CD22 (I played around with some dummy temps). My positive OPK yesterday was the weakest positive I'd had in days, so I think I may have O'ed.
GTKY: Are you a cat person or a dog person? I love both, but my husband is a cat person, so he agreed to get me a cat. I got the biggest cat I could find, and I occasionally walk him around on a leash. He has freakishly large paws. He's a pretty cool dude.

GTKY: Are you a cat person or a dog person? I go both ways. Grew up mostly with cats. Had a dog when I was younger but after he died we didn't get another one. DH has grown up with only dogs so when we visit his family I get my dog time in. I am itching for some animal soon though...

Chart Stalks/Rants: I had to get a shot of Ganirelix and "FUCK". Someone told me that needle was not sharp and they aren't lying. It fucking hurt, my husband just kept saying "I'm sorry" when he was giving it to me. I have 1 more shot this morning and I'm so ready to get it over with.
GTKY: Are you a cat person or a dog person? Dog. I don't really like cats. I'm allergic to them they make me itch and I'm with @linnydan12 I can't stand an animal on my counters. My husband always had 2 cats and when we got married his two cats drove me nuts. I constantly had to wipe off counters because they got on everything and there was cat hair everywhere. We eventually had to give 1 away because they were peeing on my boys bed everyday and they ripped up carpet in our brand new house in 2 bedrooms. Then the other one went outside because I was itching so bad.

Chart Stalks/Rants: So yesterday my rant was about how I would probably miss my FW if it happens this week like usual because DH's work was taking him out of town...but miracle of miracles, we both have a freaking SNOW day today. I haven't seen snow since I was two years old and it was really just a snow flurry. Our area is so ill-equipped for winter weather I spent all night last night and now I'll spend the morning delivering kennels from the rescue I volunteer with to people who say they'll bring their dogs in for the night if they have a kennel...I don't know if I'm excited that we might get snow or sad at all of the problems it causes for pets/homeless/elderly and children who aren't prepared for the cold.
GTKY: Are you a cat person or a dog person? Definitely a dog person. I have two cats that were left in my yard a few months ago (there's a thread about it somewhere) but I am slightly allergic to cats and sneeze/get puffy eyes alllll the time with them here. I love them and they're sweeties, but there is just a different bond between me and my dogs.

GTKY: Are you a cat person or a dog person? I have both and love both. I used to be a cat person but then I got my Yorkie with an attitude and she is pretty much a cat without the litter box...so I guess I like dogs a tiny bit more. Haha.

Chart Stalks/Rants: I am actually hoping I don't O for a few more days now. (I O'd around day 19 last cycle). DH became the latest victim of what I suspect is the flu and is curled up in bed trying to sleep it away. No HIO last night, and probably not today either. I hope he gets to feeling better soon, I hate when he is sick. (And the selfish part of me hate that it had to happen during FW). I should be okay, my OPK was negative yesterday and my temp dropped today (although I slept terribly so I don't know if that affects it that much or not). I haven't POAS yet today to see...

Chart Stalks/Rants: My temp dropped today, so I don't think I have O'd yet...but I feel like it's coming, which would be in line with FF second best estimate of my O date last month. It put the crosshairs on CD 23, but then it said it could have been days 16-18 too.
GTKY: Are you a cat person or a dog person? Well I used to be a total cat person as a kid. I even had cat trading cards I got at the book fair with little facts about the cats on the back. I put them in a plastic display sleeve thing and all. I was a nerd, haha. NOW, I'm more of a dog person, but instead of collecting trading cards I just have two real life dogs.
BAH!!! I just got back from my follie scan - 2 @ 16 mm, 1 @ 14 mm. I took Clomid from CD 5-9. I'm currently on CD 15.
The nurse was like "Have you gotten a positive OPK yet?" And I was like "Um, no. I haven't been using OPKs." Then she was like "Oh, didn't I tell you to use OPKs?" To which I responded "No. I've gotten false positives on those in the past, which we discussed. They've been unreliable for me."
I was supposed to find out when I should schedule my IUI and I thought I'd get my trigger shot to take home (which is what I usually do) but then she told me I should just use OPKs and not HCG to schedule my next IUI.
I'm freaking out now. I was relying on the HCG to time the IUI correctly. What if I don't ovulate?! I've gotten those stupid surges and never ovulated! Then last month I tracked my temperature AND I used OPKs and I NEVER got an lh surge!!! I DID get a temperature spike, but that does not help because that means I've ALREADY ovulated! And I got my period exactly two weeks after my spike! This was when I was taking a cycle off.
What the fuck??? The nurse said she's going to talk to the doctor to see what to do but I am pissed. I don't want to rely on OPKs for this IUI. I've already spent so much money on ultrasounds. I don't want to fuck up this cycle.
Ladies - any reassurance? Suggestions? What would you do?

My parents have one now (of course) and I love her dearly! And DH and I have a crazy black cat named Gus! We live in an apartment right now and can't really get another or a dog. But when we get a house I definitely want a dog and another cat! I want to rescue all animals.

I feel awful – need to pee all the time; headaches constantly; and waves of nausea. If AF is doing this – please just go the fuck away. If I’m getting sick – just let me be sick and get this over with – I’ve felt like this for over a week now.

I don't know anything about clomid but I always thought on medicated cycles OPK's aren't as reliable. I'm on FSH injections and they told me I didn't have to do opk. That's why you pay for all the bloodwork and us. I would defiantly want a trigger so your IUI can be more reliable. I'd raise a stink with that nurse if it was me. All that shits expensive you want to get the best chance for your money.
I have had 5 straight days of VERY positive OPKs (and a few days before where the test line was the same as the control line). I had a slight temp increase this morning, and if my temps are up for two more days, FF will give me crosshairs. I have taken a gazillion OPKs this cycle and have always had a noticeable line.
My question: I really thought I O'ed yesterday, but my OPK is still positive. Is it possible to get a positive OPK after O? I tried to Google it, but I got a bunch of Babycenter responses where all the posters were like, "Girl, you're just getting ready to ovulate again!" I need a more reliable source. Also, I asked yesterday, but I didn't get a response: What is the LEAST sensitive brand of OPK? I think I need a weaker one since I always get a defined test line.

What are you doing?: Drinking an absurd amount of coffee and feeling bitter because I had such HIGH hopes for last cycle. Our timing was amazing and I ovulated at a normal time (compared to CD 44 Last cycle!) had my first positive OPK ever, a very clear temp shift, tri-phastic chart, and I thought I had ALL sorts of symptoms. and yet, here I am. This month I am going to keep going with the temping, OPKs and EOD sex that we keep saying were going to do. Hahaha! Here's to hoping my cycle is back to a fairly normal length after my two month long cycles.

GTKY: Are you a cat person or a dog person? Definitely dog. I love kittens, but am not really a fan of adult cats. I think they are very pretty animals, I just don't like the attitudes that most of the ones I've met have. My husband had a cat for the first 8 years we were together and he was the BIGGEST asshole. He wouldn't let anyone touch him, attacked the neighborhood cats, and was just generally unpleasant. I just love dogs, and they way they love you unconditionally. I like walking them, and playing fetch, etc. We have a three year old Aussie who is just amazing (even though she is still a crazy puppy) and I would have five more if I didn't live in a small place.

@MmmPopcorn what kind of OPK are you using? Is the line as dark or darker than the control line? I have had 10 + O tests before...keep them in the chart and wait it out, you might not have O'd yet.

Chart Stalks/Rants: I'm extremely tired and I have had a headache for the past few days. My job has been extremely stressful since last week & I think that's the cause of my headache. I just want it to go away. If it doesn't in the next few days, I'm gonna call my doc. I don't normally get headaches, this is pissing me off. Extra Strength Tylenol isn't even helping.
