On my way home from work I had DH start some water boiling because I was craving Mac&Cheese so I got home had some snuggles with my LO, put him to bed, then swiftly ate the entire box all by myself. I'm kind of disgusted, especially because I feel like I need more! What is this little baby doing to me!?! Please tell me I'm not the only one who has massive feasts! With my first I never got this hungry feeling or had cravings or aversions at all, it's so strange to me!

Ummmm...right here. From week 5-16 I was jaba-the-hut-hungry. I was working a ton and I would get irrationally angry at my DH if he didn't have dinner on the table when I got home. I believe that I put on 20lbs by 16w.
Make sure you get enough protein. I followed the brewer diet. J was 7lb 14oz at 38w. I attribute much of that to the volume of food I inhaled during the first tri.

TTC #2 - back to the RE, treatment started 12/2014.
Yes- I was really hungry too. My toddler loved all the extra cheese and cracker snacks she got with me! Ditto PP about making sure you are getting enough protein.
I've got the hungries right now too, in 2nd tri. I stay pretty sick my first tri, but have been stuffing my face the past month or so. And this pregnancy is massively different than my pregnancy with E, and they are both girls. So don't worry about things being different. Every pregnancy is unique.

I felt so sick throughout my entire pregnancy with G that I feel like I was never hungry - had too many food aversions to count! Breastfeeding, however, was another story! I ate.and.ate.and.ate... Interested to see how my next pregnancy compares!
Eat up Mama! At least you can have the peace of mind that LO is fattening up in there!
Nope all the time. I'm the gross one with no self control! I'm up 40-45 at 32 weeks

Good reminder about the protein, the thing that has been tricky is finding a protein to eat! I used to love to have chicken but thinking of eating chicken now is revolting most days. I do have two eggs for breakfast most days so that gets my day going well anyways!

Do you like Greek yogurt? That's been one of the things I can stomach this pregnancy and it packs a pretty good protein punch.
Yes! I love greek yogurt, I have at least 1 every day!
