I've been talking about getting a tattoo for probably 10 years.  I'm finally getting it.  I'm all excited but also totally nervous.  My girl friend is taking me so at least I'll have some moral support.

Good luck!  And drink an OJ or eat a snickers right before you start.  Your blood sugar will get low as your body's response to the needles.

It's a Celtic trinity knot.  Cheesy, I know, but I lived in Ireland during college and nearly moved there afterwards.  I grew up in a big Irish-American so it means a lot to me.  I'll post pics when I get home...

And I'm getting it on the back of my shoulder.  I wanted it on the top of my hip, but if we decide to have DC#3, it would get all stretched and weird when I was PG.  I wanted something that was hidden most of the time, but I was ok with seeing it sometimes, you know?

That sounds cool!  I have a tattoo on the inside top of my hip.  Two pregnancies later, and it hasn't moved at all!
