Experience with NYU Langone?

Hi all! Apologies if this has already been discussed, but I can't find any posts on experiences giving birth at NYU that are more recent than 2012.

Does anyone have experience giving birth at this hospital (or have any friends who did) from the last year or so? Granted, I don't have a choice as this is where my doctor works and I've heard only good things, but I'd love to hear details. How are the recovery rooms? I heard they were recently renovated. Did your husband/partner sleep over?

I delivered at NYU in July 2012 and had a wonderful experience. I actually spent 7 weeks in their observation wing on bed rest and was then induced. NYU has excellent staff and I am delivering there again with my second due in May. You are in good hands! I highly recommend the suggested prenatal classes (beast feeding, delivery, parenting, etc). Good luck!
