DS Said his first words with real meaning!

Yum yum.

I'm not kidding. Any time he is eating he says yum yum. Then today he picked up his empty sippy, handed it to me, and said yum yum.

No mama or Dada but we have yum yum. Definitely my husband's son!

    We thought DS was saying "Da-Dee" in earnest, but he calls pretty much everything "Da-Dee". He looks at the bamboo plant and says, "Da-Dee".

    I love that your LO said "yum-yum"! That is too precious!

    "Yum yum yum" are our DS' first words too! So funny. He says it everytime he eats something.

    Sadly, our baby says "mum mum," which is the name of those rice crackers which we have used to bribe her when she gets fussy when we are out.  She can now find them in my coat pocket and asks for them whenever I put her in her car seat.  Sometimes I think she says "yum yum" but it could be that she is just asking for mum mums because she isn't very articulate.
