testing out HCG

I had my retrieval on Wednesday...8 eggs, 7 mature...6 fertilized.  They will call in the AM with the report - transfer day is potentially tomorrow or Monday.  Anyway, I have never tested out the HCG but decided to do it this time.  I had my trigger Monday night.  I used an IC today and barely got a positive.  Crappy test or is it possible that it's almost out of my system?  It's been less than 4 days since the trigger.  Any experiences with this?  TIA

10,000 units.

I'm inclined to transfer as many as they'll let me.  IVF #1 was 3-day transfer of 8A & 8B (one kiddo).  FET #1 was single blast (BFN) and FET #2 was two blasts.  Given that I've never had 100% implantation rate, I'd prefer to go with as many as possible, especially if that means otherwise we'd have a single frosty.  Keep the kiddos coming!

I had positives for my trigger till around 8 days then it went negative until day 13 when I was pregnant. Some people it clears out of your system sooner.

To ensure accuracy of your HPT following an hCG trigger shot, keep in mind the following guidelines: wait at least 14 days after a 10,000 IU injection, 10 days after a 5,000 IU injection, or 7 days after a 2,500 IU injection.
