My DD just turned 10 months this week and I feel like we need to tweak our schedule. She has been taking 20+ mins to fall asleep and only napping for 30-40 minutes for the last 2 weeks. She used to have short naps until about 7 months when we started a bit of nap training and she then got into a good groove of longer naps. She was doing 2 hrs of awake time before #1 and then 3 hrs before nap #2 then 3.5-4hrs before bedtime (always around 7ish).
I've extended her morning wake time to 2.75hrs with some success on a couple of days. What does everyone else do? I leave her about 15 mins when she wakes but she isn't going back to sleep (usually wakes crying but calms relatively quickly). I can tell she's still tired. No new milestones and no new teeth coming either.
Thanks!
ETA she has just recently gone from 2 feelings to 0-1 at night on her own. Not sure if the consolidated night sleep has had an effect.

Re: 10 month old nap schedule
DS is only 9 months but we do 1st nap 2 hrs after waking up but it's starting to stretch to 2.5 - 3 hrs. 2nd nap 3 hrs after 1st nap, bedtime 4 hrs after waking up.
His first nap is about 45 mins, 2nd nap is 1.5 - 2 hrs.

My daughter has been doing two 2hr naps and some days a 3rd 45min nap just before supper.
She typically goes to sleep about 2hrs after waking. I follow her cues and go with it...it varies a bit but generally she is awake 2hrs, sleeps 2hrs, awake 2hrs, sleeps 2 hrs, awake 2hrs, sleeps 45min, awake 2-3 hrs then asleep for the night (waking to feed a couple times).
She is 10.5months. She just popped 4 top teeth in the last 2 weeks so things were off. We're back in the grove of things now. She may be ready to start doing longer stretches...but still goes down easily so I'm hesitant to try!
My daughter does 45min sleep cycles and usually wakes, stretches rolls a bit and goes back to sleep. When something is off (overtired, teeth, anything) she will wake crying and I go in and lie with her for a few minutes to resettle her and she usually goes right back to sleep. This took months of training, for both of us, as she would previously wake and be up.
