Incision

I am 7 weeks PP and all of a sudden today my incision has felt like it's burning. Anyone else have the same issue? I feel like I need to put ice on it or something!

Re: Incision

  • I have had days like that. Usually they are after sex, exercise, or wearing a different style underwear that rub on it. Sometimes it's the whole scar, sometimes just one side.

  • Yes I had my PP appointment and it didn't feel like this then. I go back this coming week for another check so I will mention it to my dr then. I know nothing can be done about it but it's just annoying!
  • I had that same sensation, at about the same time in my recovery. Doctor said it was totally normal.

My Incision felt weird for 6 months off & on. I was numb until about 7 in areas. If it really bugs you call the doctor. But sounds totally normal!
