Pack n Play Attachments

My mom recently gave us a Pack n Play that is a couple of years old and it has a changer but no newborn napper which we wanted since we weren't planning to buy a bassinet.  Does anyone know if you can buy attachments, like the napper, separately from Graco?  I have searched online but haven't had any luck.

Re: Pack n Play Attachments

  • Graco might be able to sell you a replacement napper, but your pack and play wouldn't have the clips to attach it to so it would be useless :(

That's what I was afraid of.  I was hoping the different inserts might work with various models and that they would sell what was need to attach them to the pack n play correctly, but it sounds like that's not the case.  Bummer!

  • Is there any chance the newborn napper is on the reverse side of the changer?   That's how mine is.

Does your PNP have the ability to raise the floor up?  I think that's technically what Graco calls the "basinet" feature.  It recommends overnight sleep on the basinet, not the newborn napper, fwiw.

  • Does it have the bassinet part - I think that's what they call it - basically the raised level of the pack and play? We had our newborn napper all set up but I took it off the minute we got home from the hospital because it occurred to me that if DS did even a quarter turn onto his side, that his face could be in the side of it. Seemed like a suffocation risk to me and I didn't want to chance it. I much preferred the hard, flat surface of the raised level.
