Avery is one of our top names if we have a girl (it was on our list last time but we had a wonderful DS). The MN we had chosen is Joan, for both our grandmothers. I like the flow of a short MN starting with a J letter !

I think any middle name that doesn't start with an E or E sound would be good since Avery ends with an E sound. That would be an annoying mouthful. Mainly because my first and middle name is Nikki Elaine and I flucking hate saying them together. Lol. Avery Grace or Avery Jane sound nice.

I also like Avery Rose. Or Avery Pearl. When we were pregnant with my son, if we had a girl we were really leaning toward these. This time we are all over the place with names. We usually don't get serious until we find out the sex. Hope all goes well for you!
