My OB had said that LO was going to be 9+ pounds and she ended up being 7 lb 8 oz. Everyday I look at her and thank her that she didn't come out the size she is now.
No. 9lbs. 3oz. Was big enough thank you very much! I just hope my future LOs don't trend bigger each time like my mom's did (8:14, 8:15, and 9:12 was the last)! ETA. I can't believe he was 15lbs. two weeks early!
DS was 9lbs, 4oz (40w, 4d-vaginal) DD was 8lbs, 10oz (39w-c/s)
We make linebackers.
Carrying big babies at the end is very hard on the pelvic floor. Had DD gone to her due date she would have been bigger than DS at birth. 15lbs though, I'm wondering if she had unknown/untreated pre-e, which they were worried about with me...every month had to see the perinatologist.
I couldn't even fathom carrying him any longer then that. I'm a smaller person 5' 3" and I had no room left. For reals. Feet stuck in my ribs and hands way down too far.
15 lbs is how much DS weighs now at almost 2.5 months.
