Aurora Belle

I know what you're thinking... but is it too obvious?

I'm set on using Belle, it's my Mom's middle name.  And I just like Aurora.  But can I realistically use this as a name?

For me, it's obvious Disney princess.  However, I love love love Belle and Aurora but I don't like them together regardless of Disney.

My first thought was Big Disney Fan...mostly because Aurora screams Disney to me.  Then you added Belle....Big red flag on that.  Belle on it's own doesn't seem to be a problem, though.

Just... No. It sounds ridiculous to me. Like you are a princess obsessed woman on the edge.

ok, that's kinda what I was thinking too.
    Too much Disney Princess.

Any thoughts on a first name that would be good with the MN Belle?
I still have 2 months to go, but for some reason I'm stressing

Audrina Belle? Adrianna Belle? Is the "a" name thing you like about Aurora? What else do you like?

I guess I don't watch enough Disney movies. Don't know who Aurora Belle is :\">

The first thing that came to my mind is Aurora Lights lol. I like the name even with the Princess reference.

@OhBenji - Aurora is Sleeping Beauty, Belle is from Beauty & the Beast.

It's disney princess-y but that wouldn't stop me.

I thought disney princess' right away but how often are children called by their first and middle name together. On a regular day basis it may not be that noticeable. It will be on the birth announcement though.

While I do love both names, even together... it is way too much princess in one name.

It's a pretty name, but far too Disney princess and frilly for my taste. I can't picture it on anyone over the age of 3.

I agree with the majority of PP. It is too much. Growing up I wanted to name my daughter Belle Ariel. I LOVE Disney still but I obviously wouldn't do that now. Haha.

For some reason, this didn't scream DIsney to me until I read your post and thought about it. That said, I have a student named Aurora and it NEVER comes off my tongue easily. We are halfway through the year and I still stumble over it. It is an awkward name.

ETA: Agree with PP that it looks so pretty and I *want* to love it. I do love Aurelia (saw someone suggested that).

I actually know an Aurora Belle. She's under two. She is named for the Disney Princesses because her family is obsessed with Disney.

First off, I really like this name. Secondly, as a huge Disney fan, I really don't think you should care if people relate the name back to a few princesses. If people can name their kids after celebrities, food, or other fictional characters, than why not a possible Disney reference?
