This 2ww wait business is no joke. Work is slow today because of a blizzard rolling in and all I can think about is poas. I still don't have any to pee on. No point to this other than to whine. Thanks ladies!

    Blah.. How many days in are you?? Hoepfully the rest of the time goes fast. I think everyone hates the 2ww and I have never been good about not testing. It's like you need to be in a vacation to be busy enough to not think about it.

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born. 

    6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

    10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP

    Bake something!! If you don't have time to do it right this minute, spend your free time googling a good recipe - that always gives me something to do! :) FX this wait goes by super fast for you kaf!
    dx: MFI 0% morph & low count. Occasional Anovulatory cycles.

    Beta is Monday. I am trying to hold off poas until Sunday. Glad to know I'm not alone in my own 2ww angst!! You guys are the best

    The 2WW is the WORST. I seriously lost my shit during mine. It was ugly. I dread having to do it again at some point.

    I reccomend Gone Girl. If you have not read it yet - it's a fantastic book. IT got me through my IVF!

    It's the PITS! I was talking to a newly pregnant friend on Skype the other night and she didn't test until she was late on her period by 6 days! And was really innocently like "I didn't really see the point in knowing any earlier than that." Meanwhile, I'm thinking how I POAS 6 days post ovulation, just because the tests are burning a hole in my bathroom drawer.

    Sunday seems like a long time from now...because it kind of is. That's not helpful, just sayin that I feel your pain :(

    Nov 2012: Little buddy born in Kenya
    Nov 2013: Trying for a second, still w PCOS
    Dec 2013: IUI cycle canceled for non-response
    Jan 2014: Break cycle BFP!

    Baking is a great idea. I would also try to kill time catching up on baby albums. Although that can backfire and make you more nostalgic for a baby. Hope time starts to fly for you!

    Oh Kaf! I agree with TJ, your 2ww is killing me! 

    I couldn't POAS, I could only get the news once. Good for you for not having sticks in the house or office. Sunday sounds like a good plan so you don't get news while at the office.

    ER 4/19/12 = 11 retrieved, 6 fertilized,
    ET 4/22/12 = 2 transfered (day 3), remaining 3 weren't good enough to freeze
    Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
    Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!! 
    Baby girl J arrived two weeks early! Born into water, med-free. Hooray for Team Pink!

    TTC #2 - back to the RE, treatment started 12/2014.

    We'll and the other thing is that I am now getting my beta done across the country from where my RE is and even though it says to fax them the results on the form I worry that they won't do that or they won't agree to use the out of province requisition so that's partly why I want to poas. I don't want to get caught up worrying about having tested too early and that leading to a negative test or conversely testing and catching a chemical...

    2ww are brutal! I held out for mine and didn't POAS but it was so hard. Fingers, toes and eyes crossed for you! Definitely agree with the reading and the baking. My house was spotless during my 2ww!

    Ugh It really is a dreaded 2ww. I usually go to a few movies to help pass the time. You'd think with all this science involved in making our babies that somehow they'd be able to speed up the 2ww!!! Good luck keeping busy!
    Me = 36 with PCOS and 1 tube removed for a cyst and adhesions
    DH = 35 with low morphology

    April '09 IVF (antagonist protocol) = 5R5M, none fertilized, cancelled at ET
    May/June '09 IVF/ICSI = 6R6M6F, 2ET on 6.18.09, 1 frostie, Beta on
    6.30.09 = 51 OMG!! Beta #2 = 167 Beta #3 = 2630!!!!! An uneventful pregnancy. 
    3.16.10 a healthy beautiful miracle boy born via unscheduled c-section

    Now on the quest for another, so our dear son is not alone.

    May/June '12 IVF/ICSI (antagonist protocol) =10R9M9F, 1ET = BFN, 2 frosties
    Aug '12 FET, 1ET= beta hell, 2 rounds of methotrexate, 4 months later Hcg < 2 
    Jan/Feb '13 IVF/ICSI (long lupron protocol) = 18R18M18F, 1ET = BFN, 10 frosties
    Apr '13 FET w 2ET (one from '09 and one newer) = (strep throat during 2ww) biochemical = BFN
    June '13 FET w 2ET = 1 baby boy lost at 10w, D/E with karyotyping, loss due to monosomy 21.
    Karyotyping of me and DH negative for a balance translocation.
    Dec '13 FET w 2ET, BFP!!!! 12/26 beta #1 10dp5dt = 781, beta 2 12dpt= 2234 could this be real?!
      Not giving up yet.
    5 frosties on ice.

    Truly realizing how much of a miracle my son is and praying this will be a sibling for him.

    Ugh nothing worst than the two week wait! On a suggestion from a fellow IVFer in their 2ww I bought a puzzle and that was my saving grace. Fx the wait picks up for you :)

    Me 38 MH 41 - TTC since June 2010 - dx with Severe MFI. Straight to IVF with ICSI. IVF #1 - ER 06/13/12 - 9 Eggs Retrieved - 4 ICSI'd - only 2 fert. 06/15/12 - 2DT - 3 cell & 6 cell with fragmentation. Beta 06/29/12 - IVF #1 = BFN. 07/20/12 - WTF Appt -Told by our RE to quit IVF. Second Opinion from RE is good. IVF#2 - November 2012. Estradiol Pills Started 11/6. Stims start 11/16. ER 11/26 - 7 eggs retrieved - all mature. 4 fertilized with ICSI. ET 11/29 Transferred 3 embryos. Beta is 12/10. 1st Beta 81 2nd Beta 160 and 3rd beta 360!!! First U/S 12/21/12 - We saw one beautiful gest. sac. 2nd U/S is 01/04/2013 - H/B 183 02/05/13 - NT Scan - everything looks good and IT'S A BOY!  Aiden was born 08/20/2013.

    IVF #2 is in progress.  ER was 05/12/14 - 11 eggs retrieved, 8 fertilized with ICSI.  ET was 05/15/14 - we transferred 3 embryos as we did on the cycle my son was conceived.  We were able to freeze 3 embryos. Beta is scheduled for 05/26/14.  1st beta - 111.  2nd beta - 159 didn't double :( 3rd beta Friday 5/30) - not a lot of hope left. Beta # 3 is 247 - probably ectopic.  Beta # 4 is 813 - possibly vanishing multiple sydrome?  06/05/14 - 5w4days - first U/S - we see a gestational sac and yolk - still have hope!  06/17/14 - 7w1day - U/S and saw and heard the heartbeat - Finally!  06/27/14 - 8w4days - Baby and heartbeat look and sound great :)  EDD 02/01/14 and It's a boy!
