Daydreamer sleeper?

Does anyone own one? I went out and purchased one after a few good reviews I read but now I'm starting to double think it. Does anyone own one?... And if you do, does your LO sleep in it at night? I have found reviews that said they did but on their website it seems like everything says perfect to get stuff done during the day. Which I would totally get considering the name is DAYdreamer.. But I was hoping to use it at night... My LO just passed out in it after being in it for five minutes (which was awesome) but since I'm a worry wart I immediately took her out. Ugh ... I found reviews on a similar product called a nap nanny ( I think was the name ) and it was recalled last year.
Very similar products... Now, I don't know what to think of this contraption! Ladies? (( :

  • No experience here but wondering why it's so expensive??

  • So I saw a picture of both product and read the recall for the nap nanny . The nap nanny issue was the children were falling out or hanging which was the cause of death. You can definetly see how much higher the sides are on the daydreamer which you would think would alleviate rolling off it. Does the buckle on the daydreamer go around the waist and in between the legs ? If it does I don't see how they could maneuver that way. As for nighttime sleeping I don't know . I would definetly see how she sleeps in it during the day while you have her close by and watch her. But if it's just going to cause you stress I would just take it back .
  • @booty19 I wondered the same but I had a gift card and figured I would give it a shot because he loves sleeping at an incline! I also had a 20 % off coupon but it was still 100 dollars...
  • Yep I've got one and love it! She sleeps in it every night. She sleeps much longer in it than laying flat. Like someone else said they made changes to it so it's not the same as nap nanny. Even at two months old she is not able to wiggle out of it and seems super stable. I's say it's worth every cent!!
  • I returned mine. There is no head support and my LO just flopped all around in it. She likes to be swaddled and you can't because it has a harness. Also the only place you can put it is on the floor
  • Nkhead- my LO sleeps better swaddled too so I just pulled the straps thru and don't use them. When she getts older maybe I'll use them again but for now they aren't really needed. Haven't had a problem with her head. I found it was a great size instead of a large PNP in our room.
  • My wiggle worm slides down when she's not buckeled in. Size might play a part though, she's 8 pounds?
  • Nkhead. Maybe. We started 8lbs 9 oz and are now 11lbs 11oz. She wiggles but swaddled doesn't get too far. Lol
  • I use mine at night all the time -- the website doesn't say anything about not using it at night, but only against using it in the crib (duh). My LO falls asleep in it almost instantly too, and sometimes I just don't have the heart (or the energy) to wake her and put her in her crib!!! The product that was recalled basically had no sides, so baby could fall out easily :/ I'm SO glad they finally made one that babies can't get out of -- they seem really concerned about safety and have even put up some stuff on their site about it to show the differences from the old product -- check it out if you're having doubts! https://daydreamersleeper.com/daydreamer-baby-sleeper-safety-features/
    Good luck!!!!
