I'm plus sized and just look like I've packed on extra weight. Can't wait until I actually look pregnant since I feel so very very pregnant, lol!

    Pregnancy Ticker
  • I'm at 14w4d right now. Still don't look pregnant.  I'm 5'4" and have always been on the bigger side, but I lost weight before I got pregnant and I'm still wearing all those clothes I bought when I lost the weight.

  • I started showing around 18-24 weeks. I got a little bump at 18 weeks that was smaller and grew after I ate. Then it progressed and now I have a pretty small but noticeable bump

    It's a BOY

  • I've gotten thicker around my waist area and a bigger chest but people wouldn't assume am pregnant at all, I'm 18W 3D and I've gained about 6.6 lbs so far. I still fit into my size 6 US fitted pants, need a little wittle squeezing for the button so instead I just wear my belly band already because I feel like I'm wearing PJ pants to work :D

I weight 138 lbs before my pregnancy, my height is 5'6" and my BMI is 22.3 and this is my first pregnancy. I have a long torso, not sure if that affects it in anyway? and the baby seems to be growing vertically in there lol.

  • I'm 13w5d, I wear maternity pants already mostly for comfort, any belly I have is mostly bloat and eating. I quit smoking when I found out I was pregnant so I feel like most of my weight gain came be attributed on that. I keep wishing for a bump but I've told to be careful what I wish for.
  • I could tell a difference really early, at around 6 weeks, but I guess that was bloating. My coworkers started to notice around 10 weeks. Now at 15 weeks it's uncomfortable for me to wear my regular clothes. I'm in "fat"pants or maternity wear. I haven't had any comments from strangers even though I feel it's obvious I'm pregnant.
  • I was in maternity pants and felt "thicker" at like 12 weeks, but no one else noticed until 18-19 weeks. Since then I've really popped, and now it's obvious.
Ditto this except I was so bloated that I bought maternity pants around week 9.

I'm 5'4, small body frame, and FTM. I noticed my bump popping at 17 wks but others noticed my bump after 20 weeks.
  • I was bloating a lot in my first trimester so I was out of my regular jeans at 8 weeks. I was showing at the end of my first trimester.
  • At 15 weeks no one could tell but I was already way out of my normal size and was using a Bella Band and Maternity Jeans. At just over 18 weeks everyone I know can tell. Still no stranger comments, but every day I'm waking up a little bigger.
  • Had a small bump at 18 weeks and started wearing maternity clothes that week. It's been 5 weeks since then and now you can def tell I'm pregnsnt and not just looking bloated.
  • I am 5'5" and pre pregnancy weigh about 130. I put on maternity jeans around week 10 because it was becoming uncomfortable to sit in my normal jeans. I am now 14 weeks 5days and am finally starting to feel more than bloat...not a big bump...but I don't feel like I look like I have a beer gut anymore...
  • I was weight lifting before I found out I was pregnant so I had a muscular stomach.  And at 5'6 and 125lbs before my pregnancy my husband could see the bump around week 7 or 8.  Couldn't zip up my pants by week 9 and had to get a bella band.  Was afraid people would start noticing before I got a chance to tell them but since it's still semi winter I just wear more layers lol.

It will be fun to get back in shape after the pregnancy though!  That's my next challenge!
  • I was around 10 weeks but it's my 4th. Doc said it's just bowels since everything slows down. Lol
  • FTM, 21 weeks and my coworkers are just now able to tell. Like PP have said, everyone is different.
  • I THOUGHT I was showing from about 8 weeks on, but really that was just bloat and was still fitting into the majority of my clothes.  Was not until this week, as I approach 18 weeks, that people are really starting to notice and my belly is getting that firm, round look to it.  Honestly, though, to some strangers I probably still look like I just eat too much junk food and carry it all in my belly ;)

I have heard with the first pregnancy it can be 20-24 weeks before a true bump emerges.
